Here at DTS InfoTech, our customers will ask us, "Now that we’ve upgraded to new computers, what do we do with these old ones?”

Sometimes the computer is too old, and it really needs to be recycled.

But, in some cases, we tell them about the value of an older computer by saying, “You have a perfectly good old computer! Remember, it’s configured with the software that runs your business and that’s invaluable. It’s a waste to just get rid of it. Why do that? Then we’ll ask, “Does your car have a spare tire?”

Our customer will answer saying, “Hmmm, I didn’t think about keeping them. And I like the idea of a backup computer like a spare tire!”

No one wants to drive around on old tires, but everyone knows spare tires are handy when you get a flat!

Keeping that old computer as a spare for your business is a good idea!

Because if you suddenly lose the service of a computer (it happens) just plug that old computer in and you’re up and running.
